We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to enable and empower work for 60 different IT specialists in Engineering division.
In this role you will:
CI/CD Pipelines: Develop, optimize, and maintain reusable GitLab CI/CD pipeline components to automate the deployment process, ensuring efficient and reliable delivery of applications.
Containerization: Help implementing and support containerization solution for LD ecosystem. Manage and scale containerized applications using Kubernetes; best practices for cluster management, security, and monitoring; strategies to ensure high availability and performance.
Automation: Develop automation scripts and tools to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual interventions.
Monitoring and Logging: Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure high availability and performance of the infrastructure.
Collaboration: Work closely with development teams, architects’ team and infrastructure team to ensure seamless integration of DevOps practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
Private Cloud Tanzu (TKG) Infrastructure Management: Implement and maintain highly available and scalable infrastructure using best practices for security, cost-efficiency and performance.
Solution Design: Provide best practices for implementations of Kubernetes platform to development and management teams.
What you need to succeed:
At least 2 years of experience in a DevOps role, with experience of managing Kubernetes Platform.
Strong experience for managing containerized applications using Docker, Podman and Kubernetes.
Understanding of networking concepts, and Linux system administration.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.
Proficient in creating and managing GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
Understanding security best practices.
Scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar).
Apply strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve issues within the Kubernetes environments and Tanzu services, ensuring minimal downtime and smooth operations.
Nice to have proficiency in Azure and its services.
Experience with migrating applications from on-premises VMs to Kubernetes or Containers.
